Next Meeting - March 18

Getting that EQ off the Shelf –  Pat Harrison will present a demonstration on how to design unique and beautiful quilts using EQ 7 Software.  The program is suitable for beginner and intermediate users.  She will present a trunk show of quilts she designed.  Pat is an accomplished long arm quilter, pattern designer and NQA Certified Master Quilt Judge.   She owns Ocean Waves Quilting Company, Exeter, RI. Pat will bring "Pat’s Favorite Quilting Things”  to vend, which include: dry irons, her patterns, seam allowance guides and Quiltmaker Mar/Apr magazines (Pat's quilt “Spot On” is featured in it).

Pat’s husband Bob – Bob’s Featherweights – will vend at our meeting starting at 6:00 pm.  Come early and see Bob’s collection of antique Singer Featherweights.  He fixes Singer Models 221 and 222, from simple repairs to complex overhauls.  He will also vend wood turned seam rippers, pens and pencils as well as Featherweights and parts.  To contact Bob for specific replacement parts email him before the meeting. He will have several Singer Featherweights for sale.

As a guild we work to promote the art, skill and joy of quilt making.  Among the many ways of reaching our goal, we have an annual quilt show, offer workshops and programs with guest speakers and support the New England Quilt Museum and local charities.  We meet each month to conduct business, exchange ideas, share information and enjoy the company of other quilters.
