1.“Yes There is Life After Stippling”

Wednesday, July 22, 2009, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm

Fee - $75.00

Supply List

In this workshop, Patsy will cover a wide range of quilting designs and will explore a number of different fun techniques that you can marry with free motion work.   The designs are useful for different styles of quilts (traditional, contemporary, and art quilts) so there is something for everyone in this class.

This is an example of Patsy's work, not a workshop project.

2.Pansy Wall Hanging

Thursday, July 23, 2009, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm

Supply List

Workshop fee - $75 (plus $5 pattern fee payable to instructor). If you enjoy free motion work and are looking for ways to add new depth and texture to your quilts, then this class is for you!  We will learn the skills of fusible appliqué, trapunto, basic thread painting, and free motion machine quilting, as we create a pansy wall hanging.  this is one technique that is surprisingly easy to do but adds tremendous interest to your quilts.

Judy Niemeyer

Learn to implement fast and easy cutting techniques, stacking techniques, paper-piecing techniques, and curved piecing from a nationally known pattern designer and instructor.   Two different one-day classes will be offered.  Preparation (pre-cutting) before class will be required to ensure class time is available for Judy to demo the techniques and for students to complete some of the units within their project.
